RELEASED MAY 2013…

If you want to preserve your family’s memories in a fun, frugal, creative, and mess-free way, then grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair, and get ready to start digital scrapbooking!

Using Photoshop Elements 11 (which you can download a free trial of), WATCH ME SCRAP is a video tutorial series that will teach you (yes, YOU!) everything you need to know to get started in digital scrapbooking. Don’t let that computer intimidate you! I will walk you through the digital scrapbooking process in a fun and friendly way, giving you all the tools and skills you need to get started. Start preserving your family’s memories today!

As an award-winning scrapbooker and trusted digital scrapbook product designer, I have created this set of videos with the busy mom in mind. This is how I would want to learn! Averaging about 15 minutes, each video introduces you to new skills and techniques that build on one another. Rather than learn the skills in isolation, you will instead WATCH ME SCRAP via screen capture video and see and hear the whole scrapbooking process as it is happening. Armed with these new skills, you will be challenged to create the same three layouts I do (see images above) and in the process, you will be prepared to create your own beautiful pages.

Scrapbooking. My creative outlet.  My first (creative) love, my happy place.

I encountered my first scrapbook right before my junior year of high school. Two of my friends were just getting into Creative Memories and I was totally mesmerized by their albums.  I spent the next 12 years calling myself a scrapbooker, cutting up pictures, and buying expensive stuff…and having very few pages to show for it!  I loved the idea of scrapbooking, but it just wasn’t happening for me.

And then, on a fateful day in 2005, a friend gave me stack of scrapbooking magazines.  As I was thumbing through them, I saw an article on digital scrapbooking. I was intrigued.  I read the article, did some Google searches, and I knew it was for me.  I bought Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Elements for Dummies, and I got to work. And here I sit, eight years later, loving it as much as I did when I started.

In those eight years I have…

  • Scrapped over 1500 pages
  • Met some of the most amazing people who I am pleased to call friends
  • Won the Photoshop Elements Magazine Best of Show award
  • Have been published in many of the major scrapbooking magazines
  • Was a 2007 finalist in Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooker of the Year contest
  • Have designed and sold digital scrapbooking templates since September 2006 (currently selling at Sweet Shoppe Designs)
  • Founded THE DAILY DIGI (which is now run by my amazing friend Steph)
  • Created a class for Big Picture Classes

  1. Just leaving you little note to say (once again) how much I love your templates. I really appreciate the doubles and that the focus remains on the photos and story telling.
Here is a LO I made with your 2many photos #89.
