More Than a Movie

If spending quality time together as a family—without it costing a fortune—is your desire, look no further. MORE THAN A MOVIE is a collection of 50 ideas for fun and frugal family nights that don't involve turning on the T.V. Each of the four sections—Food, Fun, Thinking of Others, and Out & About—will inspire you with short chapters listing easy-to-gather materials and a simple how-to. Most activities require very little preparation and are all easy on the wallet. Janet Phillips—the author and a happy mother of five—believes that family and fun shouldn't cost a fortune. As you look at her creative ideas, you'll be amazed to see how cheap and simple a fun-filled family night can be. All you really need is a willing heart and the desire to enjoy a fun evening with the people you love most. I am so thankful to a handful of friends who listened to me share my ideas and encouraged me along the way. Whether specific to this book or just to life in general, a project like this wouldn't have happened without the love and support of some key people: Ruth Ann, Abigail, Erika, Lindy, Steph, Katie, Stacy, Sally, and Shelley. Whether you know it or not, each of you played a part in this book coming together. I am forever grateful. God keeps reminding me that I need people. You are proof that this is true.

I found your book on pinterest and then Justine Mcmanus said you guys were friends. So she really encouraged me to buy it. We LOVE it. I will be doing reviews on the ones that we do from your book. I am going to do it next week with Works for me Wednesday. Thought you might want to know and check it out.

You can email me privately if you want more details. I really enjoyed the ideas and we have a wide range of ages!

I don’t have any experience with Kobos, but fI read on one site that Kobo’s “premise is that “consumers should be able to read any book, anytime, anywhere, and on the device of their choice.” That means you should be able to download the pdf or buy through Amazon or Barnes and Noble and still be able to read.
